ACM W Book Fair

The Association of Computing Machinery never fails to come to the aid of the students. Keeping up the tradition of never ending support, ACM-W held a book drive. To provide convenience to the students, course books were also made available in this book fair. The people to especially benefit from this drive were the 2015 batch students.

We all remember the time when we were freshmen; we’d be running frantically for Calculus and Discrete Mathematics’ books. But this wasn’t all, ACM –W asked every student who came for borrowing a book to write a letter to future him/her, to write something they aspire to achieve in this year.

After an year, ACM –W plans to re-hold this drive to continue the cascading effect of supporting each other academically, where the present year’s borrowers will return the books and ACM-W will return them their letters and ask them to read them out loud in front of their friends.
